What I've bought, saved, seen this month
The April edit of things I've bought, saved, seen: what’s worth adding to cart & what's not...
Fashion Faves:
I’ve worn, you’ve loved…
Abercrombie Built in Bra Collection: I can’t stop wearing this entire range; from the daily wardrobe staple vests (long-line, not cropped) to the night out bandeau & trouser co-ord and that yellow summer dress. Abercrombie has nailed it this spring/summer.
& Other Stories T-shirts: I feel like I have accidentally been gate-keeping this without telling you, but for years these have been the t-shirts I’ve worn. Just a classic tee, perfect fit, that will never go out of style.
Zara Asymmetric Top: The perfect ‘out out’ top to wear with jeans or black trousers. It keeps coming in and out of stock. Grab one if you can. You won’t believe the price!
Black and Gold Belt: You guys ask me where mine is from on a daily basis, but it’s so old. This is the closest I’ve found.
WAT Boxy T-Shirt: I bought this in white and grey last year and am only just getting to wear them now the weather is warm. Perfectly proportioned to wear with high waisted trousers and jeans.
4th & The Reckless black dress: If you have any parties come up, I’ve found you the most perfectly flattering dress. It comes in black or white, in airy fabric and costs £55 but looks FAR more expensive.
Jewel Boutique Sunglasses, £19: at this price, I have a pair in my car, one in my bag and one in my coat pocket.
M&S Palazzo Pants, £46: the answer to it’s too hot for jeans but I’m not ready for a summer dress yet. These trousers are so chic. I kept them in black and beige. Pair them with the WAT boxy tee. Perfection.
Aligne Ecru Wide Legged Jeans: the perfect white jean is hard to come by but this pair nail the shade and the shape.
Nobody’s Child Co-ord: 3 ways to wear this chic set; the quickest way to look put together day or night - perfect for packing for a weekend away or summer holiday.
Entertaining Made Easy:
I’ve wanted an Ooni Pizza Oven for years and finally got around to spending my 40th birthday vouchers on it. BEST. THING. EVER!!! Honestly! It’s made entertaining so much fun. We love throwing last minute pizza parties for the kids friends and other families. It’s so easy (and more cost effective than a bbq) We went for the Ooni Koda 2.
The Beauty Edit:
What I’m enjoying using, and I think you will like too…
Medicube PDRN Pink Peptide Serum: My favourite new affordable skincare product this month. If your skin has been feeling a bit "meh" lately, this is a reset button in a bottle. PDRN is the buzzy "salmon DNA" ingredient that started as a high-end injectable treatment in Korean clinics. If you’ve been hearing the buzz about “Salmon Sperm Facials” but aren’t quite ready for the needle, this delivers that “just had a medical-grade facial” radiance in about thirty seconds.
St Tropez Instant Body Bronzing Mousse: Obsessed with the fact that you love this as much as me. Like a modern (and better) Sunshimmer, but for 2026 - this gives instant ‘I’ve been on a two week holiday’ vibes and stays put until you shower. 50% off.
Medik8 Crystal Retinal: Honestly, the most skin-transformative product you could add into your regime. Start low, and climb the ladder (I’m now on level 20) and say goodbye to dull skin, blemishes and lines.
Virtue 6-in-1 Styler: the ultimate “Swiss Army Knife” for your hair, unlike traditional creams that can feel heavy or “producty,” this lightweight multitasker manages to prime, shine, revive waves and protect from heat while remaining virtually undetectable. I use it in the mornings to ‘wake’ my waves back up.
Maybelline Cloudtopia Blush: I’m absolutely converted to this £9 blusher - the bouncy formula blends like an utter dream, you only need the tiniest bit, and it blurs into the most beautiful, healthy blush. I wear shade 7 Moonlit Rose.
Skinceuticals Silymarin: If you’ve historically avoided Vitamin C because it triggered breakouts, this is for you. Perfect for adult skin that sometimes acts like a problematic teenagers; the hero here is 0.5% Silymarin (milk thistle extract). It specifically prevents the process where oil on your face oxidises, leading to clogged pores and inflammation = spots. I always notice a difference in my skin when I return to this, which is the whole point I guess.
L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser Creamy-Serum: If pigmentation is a problem, this is for you. Not just a serum; it’s a multi-tasking treatment designed to mimic the effects of more invasive procedures; rebuilding skin density and firming up facial contours, fading stubborn dark spots, and calming redness and instantly plumping fine lines. I like the texture for that immediate "bouncy" skin feel. The patented "Melasyl" ingredient intercepts excess melanin before it even marks the skin. Genius.
Places I’ve been, people I’ve seen…
…holiday’d on a family ski trip to Club Med Les Arcs where my kids surpassed my basic ski ability within the first morning. Secretly loved it.
…escaped for 24 hours with to Babington House for the launch of the newly re-vamped Cowshed brand - you’re going to love it.
…dined at the cool new restaurant, One Club Row with Skinceuticals - sat next to my friend THE CAPSULE EDIT by MERCER7
…visiting Dr Alexis Granite at her pop-up in Notting Hill at Teresa Tarmey for skin boosters.
…visited the Schiaparelli exhibition at the V&A with my mum.
…got some tips at the Bobbi Brown 5 Minute Face Masterclass.
…watching my kids run in the Mini London Marathon.
…attended the Devil Wears Prada screening with L’Oreal Paris. You must see it!!
I’m watching, reading and listening to…
The Pitt: The world loves a medical drama but this one is different. It’s a bit like ER meets 24 with a dash of Grey’s. Noah Wyle (Dr John Carter from ER) plays Dr Robinavitch in this intense but incredible new series. Set in a resource-strapped Pittsburgh hospital, each episode is an hour in time as the series goes through the shift. I’m only on ep 3 but it’s one of those where you can’t pick up your phone or you’ll miss something.
The Devil Wears Prada 2: If you work in the magazine industry, this will feel really close to home, and you may even have had some of the conversations in the movie. If you don’t, I’m not sure if you’ll enjoy it as much as the first. The four core characters; Meryl Streep - amazing. Stanley Tucci - amazing. Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt - loved how their characters grew up. But it felt a bit slow in places and the boyfriend character felt bland, half-hearted and pointless. We didn’t need him, and coul dhave done with more Lucy Lui in his place. That’s all.
Call Her Daddy: Whenever I’m stuck for something to listen to on a solo car journey, I flick to this. Alex always has the best roster of millennial minded interviewees for when you don’t want to concentrate too hard.
Home updates…
You know when you don’t realise that something is missing until you see it, and then you wonder why it was never there from the start? That’s how I feel about the rug in my dressing room. I was always intrigued by Ruggable - the machine washable rug brand - but never had anywhere to put one in our old house. It has completely changed the vibe of my room and when I look at old photos, it looks so bare without it. They have lots of limited collection with different designers so if you’re in the market for a rug SAMANTHA10 gives you a discount.
Add to your Ocado…
Honestly, I need to buy shares in Crosta & Mollica. My kids go through about 3 boxes of their breadsticks a week and I am OBSESSED with the chilli crostini. Just add a layer of cream cheese. INCRED.
